Show off your Ruger No.1's

I haven't had a look at this thread in a while. Sure some beautiful guns. A classic. I had to go fondle one after.

I sure wish I had kept a few of my past ones. But was young and needed the money at the time. Had No1V's in 22ppc and 300 win. I know where there 300 is. Trying to get it back.

Always loved the 1B and V

I'm a bigger fan of the sporters. I have a 7mm B in stanless or a 204 V stanless walnut that I would love to trade for a stanless sporter or light sporter you know any takers

I have a couple of #1 Rugers ATM. A #1B that has been rechambered to 308 Norma Magnum.
It absolutely loves the 180 Partition and Norma MRP Last group I shot is a scant 3/8 moa.

It also shoots the Nosler 210 LRAB very well. I use Retumbo behind that bullet. Took a young Bull
Moose in the fall of 2019.

! have a recently acquired #1AB chambered in 7x57. Seems to like the 130 Accubond and
Norma N204 [moa or slightly better]

Since I have a 1910 Ross in 303 British, I disposed of my #1 so chamberd. I have more bullet
choices with the McGowen barrel which is .311 groove diameter. Dave.

Here is a Sept.1 opener pic of my Ruger1B that has been rebarreled with a Sendaro tapered Shilen, in 280.

The rifle is extremely accurate right out to 1K, but this shot was at 11 yards at about a 60 degree down angle ! LOL

Really nice!!

I recently purchased this rifle on February 24th, 2024, at Prophet River Firearms. Ruger #1-B Standard, chambered in the unpopular 6mm Remington. Rifle is in excellent/mint condition, has been restocked with a grade IV Turkish walnut. Brass is not readily available however, I did locate some. I can't wait to conduct some load data and hit the range!
