Show off your Ruger No.1's

Enroute to add to the collection is a 1RSI in 257 Rbts, 1A in 280 Rem and a 1S in 218 Bee

With my .243 RSI the Roberts didn't make sense for me... I saw that .218 Bee when it first hit the EE and was tempted... the only two I am really looking for are a 1-S in Whelen and an RSI in .30/06.

Heres a crappy pic of my 1975 Ruger 1V in 220 Swift. Its wearing an older Leupold Vari-XIII 6.5-20x40 AO with target turrets. Id love to put a Tasco 705 on it IF I could ever find one! I'm loving this rifle more and more all the time! Last week I found a load which produced a group just UNDER 1/4" @ 100 yards! Very nice. Ill get some better pics soon, its got some nice wood, and the condition is excellent. Got it on the EE here a while back, and while it wasn't cheap, I have no buyers remorse (right around a grand with rings, 100 new brass and dies).

Heres 5 shots at 100y. one was a flyer, four went into the bull, the actual measurement was .247 c-c. Im not sure, but maybe my Weatherby Vanguard Varmint Special pulled a group or two like this last summer, None the less, The #1 is a shooter!

Any accuracy difference in the RSI's vs regular length forearms?
Can't think of why there would be, but curious to know from those who shoot both.
I think I could find a spot in my safe for an RSI.... sweet looking rigs for sure!

Of the half dozen RSI's I have owned, I have not noted any difference in accuracy as compared to a No.1-A/S/T...

I lied... I could not resist this No.1-A in .308 Win... she is a beauty!

Bottom gun in the photo (.223/6.5X55/.308);

I had a week moment and posted this to sell, I posted it with a price that was high. Guess I was telling my self something, slept on it now its a keeper

Caliber 338WM with a Vari X III Leupold 2.5x8x36

I picked one up used yesterday in 7mm rem Mag. Try it out this weekend but it looks promising. When I saw it on the self all I could think was "please not a magnum...not a magnum" damm ! 7mm mag. Oh well price was very right for me, and If I could get photobucket working I would post a pic.

Since i am keeping quiet on the restricted side until the Federal election, it give a lot of leverage to my budget to fill with new NR's and calibers... Always wanted a Ruger No 1 and i was thinking of a metric caliber... Surfing on Epps site i found a brand new No 1S in 9.3X62, doing some reading today on the combo... Possibly my next recruit... JP.
