Should be called the firefighter edition, would look perfect beside a chromed axe lol, I'm jealous, makes my 226 stainless elite look like a bum.

~35 years in the Coast Guard and we're kinda partial to red/white too LOL...so bit of a pre-retirement gift to myself :) . And certainly nothing bum-like about a 226 stainless elite either!

Bill inspired me, I finally had to do a Family Portrait shoot....the Sigs are such a handsome family! You'll notice between this pic and my avatar pic, I've changed out some grips. The rosewood, and the driftwood wooden grips on the Equinox are lovely, but not so great for shooting with.

Great family shot, TC.
I'm a fan of the factory aluminum grips myself, particularly on the 220s, but those piranha G10s provide a good secure surface.

I really like the aluminum too, particularly the upgrade on the Equinox to those. The wood grips are pretty, but too slick, especially if you get a sweaty grip going. I also really find the E2 grips on the E2 Elite to be an excellent fit for my hand. And the G10s are like cheesegraters for texture, but I find them comfortable and secure. I have the 'chainlink' and 'piranha' style, and think I like the piranha better by a small margin.

Yet another awesome family shot TC!....wouldn't hurt to have a P210 in there too though ;) . I hear you on the pretty wood grips - look great, but as slick as #### through a goose. Sourcing a working set for range use for the X5.

Ok fine Coast guard edition it is!! Thanks for your service, I can see that being a really interesting job. Maybe for the firefighter edition we could get the stainless parts engraved with a diamond plate look and dalmation grips? Lol.

Finally got my P320 Carry! Love it.

Initially concerned with the dreaded P320 "Double Click", I was able to rectify the "problem" with my my poor-mans milling machine (i.e. drill press + blue/green dremel grinding stone); I removed .010" from the Trigger Connector and got the firing-pin release-point and sear-disconnect where they should be (i.e. within 1mm pull of each other.)

Love the ergonomics and trigger pull... solid polymer pistol. My new favourite.

Here she is with both trigger and frame swapped. Cheers~!

Looks great man! I was curious about that double click problem, does it actually affect the function when you shoot it or is it just an annoyance?

The double-click feels crappy and not right (lots of videos online.)
Apparently really bad double-click (like mine was) and the shooter can create a dead-trigger after firing; the fix is simple though and awesome. I'll post pics later to show.

That would be great, my friend picked up a p320 and it does have the double click issue upon dry firing, I suggested he return it but the place he bought it from said it was 100% normal...
