Those Magpul forends look badass with the short barrels. I like the idea of adjustable LOP with the Magpul stock but it just looks weird to me. It will grow on me in time I'm sure.

Yeah that's generally what happens, as most people have mentioned above. I didn't like the look of the SGA stock when it first came out, over time I got used to seeing them and then after shooting a buddy's shotgun with one installed the adjustable LOP and better ergos sold me. They have a really nice recoil pad too.

Sure, why not?
I wouldn't bother with the modified but if a guy wasn't stoked on his patterns with the cylinder adding chokes is probably the next move.

Hogue 12" LOP stock came in. Unsure how it's going to feel when I shoot it, will have to try next time I'm out. OAL is down to approx 31.5" now. (Those are greasy fingerprints on the receiver )

A square to the target stance and keeping your trigger hand thumb pointing forward towards the safety will help.
A slip on limbsaver is nice for those "light" days when body armor is not on the menu.... bit more length,a lot more comfort!

I'm thinking an XS tritium big dot is all I will add and if I ever want some ghost rings I'd go for the XS rail and XS banded slip on front for an easy on easy off installation.
What foreend are you using? The strap that mossberg has crudely screwed on to there stock could use some refinement or simple elimination.
Yours looks like a good fit, basic foreend.

It's to keep your hand from slipping in front of the muzzle.

I like the looks of EL34/6L6 foreend with the SGA rear. Can you tell us what foreend you are using?

Prevents the left hand from slipping in front of the muzzle on a SBS.
That forend is a universal generic for several pumps (870, Win 1300, Mossbergs) from ATI. Common on ebay and many retailers.

Next time, take the picture first then eat the chicken wings The Hogue 12" is a nice piece of kit. I have it on my 870 Tactical and it made a huge difference over stock.
