Yep, doesn’t have to be a month, just do what you can afford and don’t worry if it takes me a month, wherever I go I like to make it long. Been lucky to on a few continents, and each trip the state isn’t improving wherever I go.
All the places, Amazon, Africa, the coastal rainforest already aren’t the places they were when I first saw them. That’s deeply worrisome. Time in nature is proven to help folks psychologically, and every time I do a stretch it resets what matters. Just get out there, it can be close to home. The wilderness around the world those guys chased and lived in and for would be a sad version of its former self if they could see it.
It doesn’t make a ####ing difference if you think climate change is a hoax, protecting wild spaces is a win and a mighty necessary one. We live in a world losing its mind when hunters rally against it over whose politics it is.
As for blakey, your ramblings are bizarre and off kilter to me and I can rarely get past the first few sentences before it becomes incongruous and strange. But I wish everyone here well even if we don’t see eye to eye or get each other, and would like to see it stay above insults.
