SR22 Rifle Questions

Great news, I just got an e-mail reply from Larry at Iron Eagle. He can order the adapter from Nordic and it will take 1-2 weeks. $34.50 plus shipping!

That is great news! Larry is great! He has allowed me to exchange several (still new) items that just didn't work for my build. One of the best companies I've ever dealt with for sure!

LeadMonkey; Thanks for the suggestion re Iron Eagle Tactical. I noticed several Kidd parts in your pics, do you have a Canadian source for Kidd who actually has a good selection of items in stock?

Unfortunately there are only 2 sources in Canada, Jo Brooks Firearms in Manitoba and Fabsports in Quebec. I ordered most of my KIDD parts from Fabsports when they got their last order in 2 months ago, their stock disappeared quickly as is usually the case. Jo Brooks has stated to me they will get their 'yearly' order from KIDD in the spring, they will have lots of everything, probably for about a week or so that is.

I have also walked Kidd parts across the line coming back from US vacations.

TEG - PM if you want to buy my HG.
YES! pm sent. LeadMonkey is going to hate me if I get this one before his arrives ;)

Yeah, I can pretty much guarantee that happens.

If TomEGun's offer falls through (or maybe I could double it? hehehe) I'd be interested gcdavidson, I'm getting very tired of chasing the supplier/purchaser and company I (supposedly) ordered the DPMS hand guard from 8 weeks ago from... who are site sponsors btw... it is so unnecessary.

TEG, got your PM and will respond. But, I noticed in your thread you referred to it as a smooth HG. I just want you and anyone else reading to know that it's got a circumferential knurled grip on the middle 1/3. If you are planning on tapping it for a short picatinny rail that spans the length of the HG, this textured grip protrudes enough that you'd want to remove some of the rail for a flush fit.

I know the exact one gcdavidson, and since TEG just offered it to me on the condition I sell it to him if my new one ever shows up I'll take it for a reasonable price. PM me and we'll set up an EMT right now!

I just brought home a sr22 and I am wondering what I can do with regards to folding stocks and a shorter bbl I do not have my rpal as of now and don't want to build something I regret.

as always thanks

Just keep it above 26 inches Over All Length and it's non-restricted... Plenty of examples and all the legend builders of SR-22's right here on this thread.

With a folding stock, it would require you to keep the longer barrel or pin the stock so it can't fold. The 26 inch non-restricted length is the over all length from as small a footprint it can go, so if the stock folds measure when it's folded. Also, the OAL does NOT include the mussel break/flash hider length (unless permanently welded I believe) but does include the threading of the barrel.

UPDATE: Got one handguard in today from Irunguns...... finally! But yeah it was well worth the wait! Just put one of these rifles all together tonight, the NEA-AR22... pics to follow...

btw my SR-22 is just awaiting the handguard from gcdavidson which should be here in only a few days! So more on that one next week... Thanks so much guys!
