support for eddie Maurice's self defense case Please read...

The crown knows damn well if this gets to a jury trial they will loose. Like others have said they are going to delay this as long as possible to drain his money but that will not happen this time. I will continue to donate and hope many many more will as well. This could be a turning point in the disgraceful laws the governing class has over us.

This crowd funding thing isn't just about helping Stanley or Maurice, it's for all of us. We have a pro-criminal, criminal government (that was elected into power by criminals) whose focus and priority is the re-victimization of crime victims. We have a dysfunctional 'justice' system with ineffective police.

When/if these self evident facts eventually sink in with all of those who are still in denial, I think that we'll see campaigns like this FundRazr really begin to skyrocket with contributions. It's now our only protection...

There is also firearms insurance for just this kind of thing. Sounds like an investment nowadays.

Two million gun owners in Canada! If ONLY HALF gave just one dollar we could turn the Canadian 'justice' system inside out and send a message to the degenerate filth in Ottawa that we're just not gonna take it any more.

Here's a rare opportunity to really make our voices heard (at a bargain) and we're blowing it big time! As gun owners, maybe we don't deserve to keep the dwindling privileges that we still have...

Guy protects his dear family and gets to suffer for it. Sick government

Imagine the Maurice FundRazr campaign at 1 million dollars. Imagine what a colossal message that would send to the "sick government" in Ottawa. Imagine the attention that the Leftist MSM would be compelled to afford such a story.

The noise it would make would be far beyond anything that the NFA, the CCFR or any other organization could possibly even dream of. We are pissing away an extremely rare chance to really make ourselves heard. If someone can think of a better way of getting our message out then I would most certainly like to hear about it.

As gun owners, we're dropping the ball on this opportunity and I'm at a loss as to how to wake others up to this fact...

we need the CCFR, NFA and any other hunting and sporting groups to get involved to get the word out.....here on CGN...we are just a small portion of the firearms community.

It really shows something that IRG's jumped in and started this thread within 20 minutes of me sending 14 email's to various CGN sponsors asking somebody to start a thread in the dealer forum after attending the first rally in front of the courthouse. I wanted it on CGN where it would be seen...in the dealer forum....not buried in the back somewhere....

Not only did they jump on this immediately...with no other cgn sponsors even saying a single word of support.....it truly shows that IRG's really support their customers and important issues when it comes to the firearms community.

I agree we truly need to get our community off its proverbial @ss and stand as one.....

Also, lets show our support to IRG's and try to make a purchase thru them next time you need buysomthing...to thank them for standing up alone on this issue...

I've contacted via email the NFA and the CCFR and asked them about supporting/endorsing the Ed Maurice FundRazr campaign. Perhaps everyone else here should do the same. It would be interesting to see their replies...

It would be interesting to see their reply's....since we give them money...and seem to get nothing whatsoever back for it.....maybe a avalanche of emails about it, stating our concerns as well as our future support hinging on what steps they take to actually do something to really help out the firearms community and victims of crappy firearms laws....instead of just taking our money.....and doing nothing (i.e ruger magazines..etc..)

IRG's support of the Maurice FundRazr is an outstanding and commendable example of what should be done. However, I do not blame any other commercial enterprise or business for 'running for cover' on this. It's a public opinion risk that they understandably might not want to take. It's a different scenario with the NFA and the CCFR...

Just getting the message out to their respective members (that they endorse the Maurice FundRazr) might be all that it takes to get this campaign into high gear. Several private individuals have contributed one thousand dollars each but what is really needed is 'numbers' of contributors . That's what's going to draw the attention of the MSM and get our voices heard in Ottawa...

Off topic...

Being a family man and father of 2, I still think it's a bit weird that the public somehow think a father or a husband is more entitled to "defend his family" with force, of course, less entitled than almost any female citizen. Don't single dudes deserve to live too?

That being said, I always support the defenders in this kind of case whenever possible.

This!

I for one will be giving IRG's first consideration for future purchases.

Really off topic reply.

Yes, of course "single dudes deserve to live too"? But that's an issue for another thread on another forum that specifically deals with gender bias issues and such. Just don't get me started. I ain't even going there on this forum... :D

Another consideration of mine is to avoid support of any 'GoFundMe' campaign. 'GoFundMe' bailed on Eddie Maurice because of the BS 'racism' backlash that the MSM generated during the Stanley fund raising campaign. 'GoFundMe' knuckled under to the Lefties instead of doing what was right. 'GoFundMe' will never get a penny from me and I won't hesitate to tell them why...

Thanks, appreciate knowing that.
