Ah I see. That too bad, I would buy one in an instant if they were available.
Just curious why go through all the trouble of registering it, att's, restricted storage and only being able to shoot it at a range just for a 3.5 inch difference? But it does look ###y!
I want to own something that most accurately represents the original military version that came from a particular country.
An example that I can offer you is actually for a red rifle. I purchased a restricted CZ 858 6 years ago over the NR variants simply because I am as much a collector of firearms as I am a shooter. What I mean is that, in my case, I want to own something that most accurately represents the original military version that came from a particular country. (Chrome Lined & 15.5" barrel in this case)
( also own the NR version at this point as well )
Boom! 100% agree:

Is there a CFC statement somewhere that one could print that classifies the Tar-21 as non-restricted?
Thanks Gimli, I'm aware of that I'm just looking for a printout that I might carry with me while in the bush or truck to show a LEO who might not be aware of these facts.
I just received my Tavor and boy is it a cool rifle!!! I have a couple questions: Should mags drop free? I've tested gen 1 and 2 Pmags and the metal mag that came with it; none of them drop free. Also, when the bolt is locked back, should the charging handle be really loose and move freely, back and forth?
Edit: Watched Hickok45's video on the Tavor and noticed the charging handle moves freely.
You can just slap the charging handle up to the top position and it'll stay there.
I've got a new Tavor too and my mags don't drop free either. I think it's just because it's new and has to be worked in, which is something I'm looking forward to doing.![]()
