For anyone looking for a great way to use a single point sling on your Tavor:

Mesa Tactical push button sling swivel Kit (part #90940) for Remington 870 shotgun just so happens to fit the sling hole in the rear of the Tavor perfectly. No mods necessary.
It Installs in seconds and for about $30 you have yourself a perfect solution for a single point sling!

Good to know. Thanks guys. Any chance you could share the source or does one need to order form Mesa Tactical directly? At least a PM if not a site sponsor.

I got mine from DSTactical but I use it on a 2 point BFG Vickers sling. I use an H&K hook to attach the sling to the front attachment point. Works well.

Any of you guys have this soft case:

I'm hoping to get conformation that a 30" Canadian Tavor will fit comfortably in it, before ordering one.

I was at Wanstalls yesterday mainly to check out a few optics I noticed they had on their webpage.

Staff was really friendly and kind enough to let me try it on my Tavor. Thanks for making the trip out there totally worth it. Ended up with just a Voodoo Tactical case but hopefully next time I can go home with the Mepro MOR. Now back to work lol

Miss my Tavor. Went to check EE and was in shock seeing so MANY for sale. What's going on? :)

The economy isn't the greatest and is downright dog#### in some parts of the country and $3000+/- is a lot of capital to have invested into a gun when you are having a hard time making your mortgage payment or feeding your kids.

Like a few others here, I found a spare factory rail, cut it down, and installed a Gearhead Works front sight base. Really gives it that classic TAR21 profile, while making it noticeably slimmer and lighter up front. You can even c-clamp it now if you want! I also like that you can now slide off the top cover and charging handle assembly without having to unscrew the sight rail.

Only thing was, for me, the front sight post was too tall, even when screwed all the way in. My rounds would hit 8" low at 100m. So I got a cheapo A2 sight post, screwed it in enough to still give me room for adjustment, then clipped it down to size, like you would with a Marlin. Perfect, now!

There was no-one stocking that GHW front sight post in Canada, but the guys at gungear.ca were able to get it to me fast in spite of the posties strike/lockout/shenanigans and at a good price!
