My X95 is not fussy with any kind of ammo, much of it my handholds that are loaded much lower than 3200fps.
Mine is way north of 5000 rounds too with zero malfunctions unless its REALLY dirty. Have you cleaned your recently?

It’s something I’ve just noticed the last few times I’ve taken it out, the first 5k rounds were no problem, though the first 1600 were a Overseas contract ball, then 2k Norinco yellow box Non-corossive 5.56, then a mix. I clean it Regularly, no rust. I don’t know, is there some part of the gas system that plugs up after a while and needs replacing. Mine is the first gen when they added the top rail.
So far I’ve found it won’t cycle reliably FMS, PMC Bronze, AE 62 .223 (3020fps), or Independence 5.56 55gr. And that last stuff is 3165fps says on the box. It will cycle PPU .223, AE 55gr .223 (3240fps) and AE 50gr HP (3400fps)

The gas port (the little hole inside the bbl) did you have to remove the gas block to clean it?
Not normal, the Tavor is seriously overgassed to ensure reliable cycling. 5000 rounds seems REALLY low for it to be a fouled gas tube, but bust out that giant brush in the cleaning kit and start scrubbing to see if it helps.
It might be the magazines?
That's IMI military ball, and it's as hot as it gets, no matter what it says on the box. It should be cycling better than anything.

If the locking lugs on your bolt snapped, youll need a new bolt. lol.....contact North Sylva. They are the distributor and can direct you in the right direction.
Looks like the switch to a lefty section of the FAQ is still pending. I was reading on some American forums that IWI typically wants you to send in your Tavor to an approved smith to install the lefty bolt but that seems overkill or is it really that complicated? Also what is a fair price in Canada for a lefty bolt? I've been quoted as high as $250 which seems insane, especially for the amount of money that I would already be dropping on it.

Dealing with North Sylva for a warranty can be a hit or miss depending on if they have parts in stock for repairs. You might have a faster lead time ordering one from a z t e c h and having it sourced from the states instead of israel.

Does anyone know where I could buy a barrel wrench? The few places I've found them are all out of stock.
Just got an X95 and have the geissele lightning bow trigger ordered so I'd like to be prepared when it arrives. I know I can improvise if needed but I'd prefer to have the proper tool for the job.

It was the same when I swapped the trigger in mine.
Couldn't find one and ended up using a large flat blade that had a hex portion on the top of the shaft so a wrench could be used for more force. Worked fine.
I got mine from Arms East for around 20$ shooting site makes a somewhat ok multitool that has one you can use to and it shouldn't take too long to get it from the states. In a pinch find a nice and thick flat head, otherwise you can twist the bit.
Haha I initially tried the same before getting the proper tool, twisted the flat head i was using.

except for the fact the X95 OEM muzzle device uses a jam nut instead of a crush washer like in the video you posted. It would need to be removed along with the muzzle device. And you would need to order a crush washer unless you have a spare already, as the X95 does not come with one and the neither does the TNA linear compenstors as far as I know
Although a guy at my range had one on his X95 and ran no shims or crush washers. He would bring it in a backpack and for it to fit would have to remove the TNA linear comp so it would fit in the bag, and just thread it on and tighten by hand at the range
I took an old 10mm Allen key and slowly ground the end down until it fit nicely. Works like a charm.
