So, when Tikka finely starts to produce real short actions without those really cheap looking plastic parts....
I would be interested in LH one and to dream some more make me a single shot....
In the interest of longer barrel life than 22CM or mentioned 22-250AI and better performance than 223Rem

I’m thinking them 77gr LRX’s will handle more than deer. But I’m also betting you’re thinking the same
A buddy of mine has taken a few nice deer with the 80gr TTSX from his 243, MV is around 3200 fps from his 22" barrel

I don't think it would with the same barrel length and chamber pressure. Logic.
slightly higher operating pressure when loaded to optimal barrel time node for 26" barrel
even apples to apples, loaded to same PSI the 243 lags behind a little. the 22cm has a lot of double based high speed powders right in it's wheelhouse
Rocky Mountain Rifles in Dawson Creek BC did the barrel install. No bedding as I think I'll restock it someday and I've always had decent "luck" getting factory Tikkas to shoot. This rifle is a little over 7lbs before mounts/optics. It's 9lbs scoped with the 4-16x50 Vortex, Talley tactical rings and a steel Tikka picatinny rail. I wouldn't be afraid to chop some barrel off this rifle someday, or choose a shorter barrel when rebarreling as the cartridge performs excellent in any length. Guys down south are running 16" barrels with suppresors, such a barrel length still pushes 75gr to 3000 fps

Anything Creedmoor is just another Gucci cartridge. Marketing to sell more rifles. 99.9% of all shooters will never know, utilize or even more so be able use the cartridge to its full ability to make it any better than a 22-250, 243, 6.5 sweed etc.... Just my opinion.....
Think of it as a .22-250 30 degree improved. If it catches on it is twisted fast enough for modern long and high bc bullets, assuming twist rates would be maintained, that makes it better than most current factory .22-250 or .243 and a few other cartridges.
Most people don't really understand about barrel twist. That's ok. Those "99.9%" should buy whatever they want. Just keep pounding out 55gr bullets from their 22-250 1-14 twist.
But for that .01% that cares about a 8 twist 22-250, they will be better served with a 22CM.

Yeah, I have a 1-8" twist rem 700 in .22-250. 22.5" #4 contour McGowan. I find it well balanced. I got a node at (going off memory here might be wrong) 36.5 gr of h4350 slinging 75 amax at 3200fps. It was very accurate! I've got this rifle shooting 60gr nosler bt's at a book 3500 fps.
I realized, that I wasn't long ranging like I planned when I had the gun put together.
I think, based on how I use a varmint rifle, I'd love a 22 creedmore slinging a 65 Sierra gk or 53 vmax or other .300ish b.c bullet approaching 4000fps or beyond. Just a hold on fur or feather rifle and wind cheater at more reasonable range. And it's a cool cartridge..... and I like spending money..... and I think it be really fun.....And, I'd be the first kid on my block with a 'Gucci cartridge' .22 cm....
