I printed the v2 receiver , got some little problem during the print but nothing very bad , if all go good today i will have the dust cover v2 m that could complete the Ak look ,with that new version of the dust cover and receiver i will use a very different handguard adapter for the front ferrule should be very easy to make them,
just have to finis to sand and file the receiver to fit the dust cover ,for the metal version soon i hope i will have some light modification to add

it more than just looking it is ...
reprinted a dust cover today after some adjustment , this one look really good ,
first pic show the new handguard adapter VS the old one
the new one would be alot easier to produce
by manually cycling it with some dummy round , it will eject around 2-3 o'clock on the side
im closer to the final design , still have 2-3 thing to mod or add to complete the metal version will probably order very soon a set of Ak wood stock to check the fitting and proceed to some adjustment if needed and after that metal version , the time will depend how im busy at work but i hope to finish this project in a couple of month

What are you gonna do for the top handguard??
Same kind of mod like you did to the lower?
well my first idea was to keep the top handguard of the sks , to reduce the number of parts and i know that those pin are not easy to remove ... unless the Ak top handgaurd is a perfect fit there but i dont think
