the stock is done and that look good , the stock height seem to be right on for the iron sight ,
what left now is to add the ak look alike mag release , some mods on a couple of thing , but at least now i have a real one to test , the drawing stage was long and not so easy but i made it !

Beautiful! What range do you shoot at? Id like to see this in person.
i dont shoot at a range ... only crown land , if you invite me and bring the ammo no prob ^^ ,
probably test shoot tomorrow i just hope that the printed trunnion that hold everything will hold but it should after a lot of manual cycling i still dont see anything bad
i may try this mag release , it will just go over the original one , acting has a lever to slide the mag release should work ,
Oh ! Please the mag release. That's mostly the con part on SKS.
!!!!!! It's beautiful! Hope to hell it all works as planned and I've been wondering why anyone (myself included) hasn't already just modified the factory mag release just like that with a lever instead of just extending the factory pull type and making it more awkward. Looks almost ak74 ish with that tapco mag in it. Nice work!Very cool!!
Can see two things I would like to see, either drilled and tapped for a rail or a dove tail or something to mount an optic to behind the bolt... and I love the idea of the bayo... so either a slotted front hand guard or at least the option of slotting it ourselves so we can fold the bayo back in.

Could put a railed mount that replaces the rear sight or get a railed gas tube upper handguard cover. Lots of aftermarket options out there for mounting optics. Would drilling the dust cover interfere with the recoil spring operation?
yep for now any thing on the dust cover would interfere because it will be made of metal sheet of 1/16 thick
i test fired it this afternoon , well in general that was working good , will have to rework a little bit on the trunion i may not have the proper spring tension causing some over travel of the bolt and causing the jam of the bolt and maybe the play of the actual dust cover that cause that , that was the only prob i got , not bad for the version 1.0 will probably post a longer video this evening ,

lol , right now im printing the trunnion v 1.2 should solve the little jam i got while testing . is all is good after a couple of test firing i will print the frame and dust cover v2 and after retesting if no need to mod or change anything will be good for the metal version ...

I'm going to buy an sks just for this on the weekend now. Just hope I'm not gonna have to wait to long for the kit tho
that time your add one in your safe ^^ everybody should have a least one ,
i will need some tester with that i should get some review and may be able to make it better if it have something ,
