The Benelli M4 Thread

Hey fellow Nellis, just brought home my new baby.

Question, isnit normal that te choke sticks pas the barel ever so slightly. I'm talking like 2mm Max. Or should it sit flush or reassessed?

Great thread guys.

Also any tips on a one stop shop to equipped this beaut. ?

Congrats! - Should have come with a Choke wrench, give it a turn but don't reef it. You could put some light oil on the threads as well.

You can check out Wolverine, they had an extended bolt release that a lot of guys prefer. GG&G makes them I think.

Member I bought mine from shortened the stock and did an amazing job. It's amazing to shoot. I wanted the collapsible stock, but am rather happy with this modded fixed one.

I tried doing both gentle man. It looks as though the the threads in the barell don't equal to the length of threads on the choke.

Perhaps it is not the original Benelli choke ? Did you buy it new or used from dealer/individual ?

Maybe post a pic of the choke and its markings.

It's original and brand new. I figured it out. The threads machined in the barel aren't machined long enough to match the thread on the choke. Put in another factory choke same problem. We're Talking mm's.

Thanks though everyone

#### it.......I'm buying one! I sold my NR one last year and have regretted it ever since

Finally found one!

should have never sold my last one.

I have the male guarding the M4 now, so I don't do something stupid like sell it....

All the dealers have Jacked up the prices on this gun though! I use to own one but sold it, will pick it again eventually..

You guys are calling yourselves "Nelli's" now? Wtf? Bahahahahaha!
Guess that's how you roll! Sorry just.....

I like the desert Camo version as well, but think the extra $300 on the price tag is a bit much, either way I caved and bought another Benneli M4 18.5...lol

I replaced the collapsible rear stock, and add a B&T fore-grip. It's more rail than I need, but I didn't like the feel of the factory plastic. The jury is still out on the fore-grip though. I can only get my hand comfortably around the lower slotted portion of it. Time/use will tell if it stays on. Built like a tank.

I like this configuration, but then again I would prefer lino on the kitchen floor if my wife would let me. Practical rather than tactical works for me.

If they sold the m4 like with the stock you have pictured I would have bought one over the versamax tactical, but for 1000 bucks more maybe not... M4 is a badass shotty regardless...

I have that factory field stock for the M4 (model # 81041) if you want. It’s brand new.

i got mine several years ago, in fact it was in the first batch of 6 in the country. It came straight from Italy as the US assault weapon ban was in place at the time and you could not get collapsible stocks. the receiver is marked LE (as you can see in the first pic below). i have posted tons and pics and vids over the years so i will just post a couple here. It is still my favourite shotgun and one of my all time favourites along with my Ed Brown 1911 molon labe.
