The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 OWNERS thread.

Magwell now available for the FX-9: Techwell USA

With no ‘lip’ on the stock magwell, looks like this is secured with a couple of pointy set-screws into the body of the lower. So it will leave a couple of blemishes if you decided to take it off... They ship to Canada but it’s expensive ($35 or $50, depending on who you ask...).

Have a couple thousand rounds through my FX-9. Added a few extras

- Gamma muzzle break
- Rise Armament Flat Super Sporting Trigger
- Strike flat wire buffer spring
- Odin Works 9mm adjustable buffer
- Egro grip
- Vortex Strikefire Red Dot

Target is 25 meters with red dot. 130gr Cast powder coated 5 shots. SWEET 3.5 pound trigger. Shoots like a dream. Using Mag Pull mags.

For your spring you put in, is it the AR15 or AR 10 version?

Some solid upgrades there Gary . Good info, Thankyou.

My FX9 on a deer hunt this week. Extensive load development with 124 grain Hornady XTP.

Have it grouping at 1.2 inches @ 100 yards.
But no deer to test it on.
Before anyone jumps all over me for using a 9mm for deer, my shot is limited to 85 yards, and if treated like a bow, and only take high percentage broadside or quartering away shots, this gun should be capable of ethical kills.

I thought I would be able to.post a pic through google drive but no luck.

I’m really interested of the results of this. Please keep us updated.

I got mine from Wolverine but they don’t have any right now, check with them to see when they’re getting some more in
