I'm really enjoying my fx9. I've had no feeding, extracting issues with mine. Shooting Blazer Brass 124 gr. I do notice a loud twang or "sproing" from the buffer spring. Someone posted (don't know where) that pulling the buffer and spring, then dropping in a stack of 8 quarters down the tube and replacing the spring and buffer improves function. Is this true or am I gullible? Thanks
Disregard. I found this in the FX-9 upgrade thread. Apparently the buffer travels too far in the tube so this reduces the travel.
