The MG34 Repair and Troubleshooting Thread

As usual Wolverine got back to me and is taking care of it :)

I also got my shaft turned down a tiny bit so the adapter would fit properly.

Decided I will start building a nice corner display cabinet for the MG this weekend :)

Will use black walnut and some cool mortise locks from Lee Valley for an cool old look. A Golden Rod and some LED lighting :)

Sitting on your tripod all set up is the only way to display that piece of badassary !!! In the corner of your bedroom lol

Nah! in the Living room with my safe :) Just took some measurements and it will fit perfectly.

The best part of all of this will be the look on the wife's face when she sees I made a kick a$$ Corner cabinet just for my MG.... hahahahhahaha

Well today I stumbled upon a Boat Trailer Bow Stop at princess auto. And it fits perfectly in the MG42 mount bolted right up with no mods...lol... Now I can use all my other guns on it as well :) Will hit up fabricland for some

Some things are just too darn easy. lol

That is the main reason why Wolverine webpage is my first stop when I need something.
They proved over and over and over again that they will stand by the consumer and make it right, even if it costs them money.

What did they replace? Free shipping?

Cheers,

They havent heard back from TNW yet, So they sold me the bolt and firing pin they had in the shop :) They Also swapped out the wooden buttstock from the shop display ( free ) since the one I got was cracked. As for shipping Im not sure. didnt see any charge on my CC yet. Im not to worried they will charge whatever is fair.

I did finish my Mount, But all I had was white Velcro :-( Ill swap it out for black this weekend after my trip to fabricland...lol... I think I can get used to shooting off a tripod.

Wolverine is great. I called today with a question about my S.A.M. 1911 and the gunsmith spent about 25 minutes talking to me. It was actually a fun chat about the best ways to do this and that to get the 1911 just right. I was impressed.

Just saw on 1919a4 fourms a guy has a beta test kit for 7.62x39 in the mg34 runs full auto ...... not sure when or if kit will be available or if it works in the semi auto
