I shouldn't have to load any for a while. I just bought 21,000 rounds of ammo already on belts.
The loaders actually are a miracle when they are tuned up and working. I had my friend keeping the chute full while I cranked. Sure beats the heck out of trying to do it all by hand.
Edited to add: I had to travel 55 minutes away to pick up the 21,000 rounds. Not quite realising how heavy that was going to be, and wanting to save a buck on gas, I took the Honda to get them. Turns out that with the bonus pack of tracer for every belt, there were another 840 rounds there. Also turns out that each crate was about 170 pounds, and there were 12 crates. 4 crates in the trunk, 6 in the back seat, and the last 2 were in the passenger seat. My first stop was to air up the tires. I had to take it slow on the way home...80 km max. I almost made it home without incident until I crossed the railroad tracks in Douglas. That cost me the muffler.
