Thanks again Dave for posting the pics.If we would not have almost sunk the boat with the big hole we punched in the bottom it would have been a perfect day???But it all turned out well.

Holy cripes, nice moose. I just spent 8 hours extracting and processing my buddy's bow killed moose in acreage country. We had a neighbor come out with all the tools (UTV and a bucket tractor), as well as his extra manpower.

Cant imagine the work involved there. Then again, the new king is so awesome, it cleanly guts on impact, and fractures bones with precision, so there is no need for a pesky bone saw, right.;)

Good work with the NEW KING, HUnter 89!!

(PS I shoudl mention that you get get NEW KING brass in .375 and .416 flavour at Italian Sporting Goods in Vancouver, where I dropped by last week)

Okay, this is some funny stuff...

I just talked to my buddy who lives near me but in the fall he is a hunting guide in Northern BC.

He's not that into guns, he is a hunter first, gun guy second. But he has heard me blah blah blahblahblah about the NEW KING!!

Anyway, he had an American hunter show up with a .375 RUger and when asked about what he was using, the hunter said "I am using the NEW KING of the .375s. the .375 Ruger!!"

This is some serious funny schit...:p

Pan-American influence. :p

That is good humour GH and I'm not surprised from all the forums I see you post it on... :D

Those are extremely nice bulls congrates to your successful hunts...

Now amazingly enough I have a question on the 375 Ruger & H&H...

I have been looking around for a 375 cartridge that will push a 260gr Accubond to 2600fps - 2650fps but haven't been able to come up with exactly what I am looking for.

I'm already shooting/hunting with my 21" barreled T/C Contender carbine in 375JDJ = 260gr Accubonds @ 2300fps and my 21" barreled Rem 700 LSS in 375RUM 260gr Accubonds @ 3020fps I'm basically looking to split the difference in velocity I plan to use it in place of my 30-06 and was actually thinking of rebarreling my 30-06 to a 375 cartridge.

I have asked about this on different forums and most guys are saying why don't I just buy a rifle in 375H&H or Ruger and download the loads to the velocites I am looking for.

That way I am not wasting time with all the work needed and still end up with a rifle that is chambered to a wildcat cartridge or a cartridge that is hard to find brass for like the 376 Steyr.

So have any of you down loaded the Ruger or the H&H and what was your experiences?
