I got an email from H.E.R.A. today. The production of the G36 conversion has been cancelled. They are keeping a list of those who are still interested in the stock. Send them an email. Maybe if there is enough interest they will change their mind.

Here is the response:

Unfortunately I have some bad news.. the G36 project has been cancelled. If you would like to be placed on a Email list to notify you if and when we will bring this product back, I can place you on this list. Again I am sorry

Took me about 2 years to finish. Pheew. Now Im thinking on selling it to fund a Bulgarian Krinkov AK-74su in .223 and to finish my AR-15. Both will have to be on a Form1 (short barrel rifle form or SBR). Also thinking on getting a Sound Suppressor for both mentioned.:rockOn:
 
The question of model variation has come up. I don't know why I did not think of putting this info here before. :redface: So now I have included it:

SL8-1,
US and Canada version, grey, single stack mag(US), double stack(Canada), long rail. plain foregrip no mounting points, .223 Cal.

SL8-4
Canada version, black, double stack, short rail, G36 vented foregrip, side/bottom mounting points, .223 Cal

SL8-5
Canada version, black, double stack, long rail, G36 vented foregrip, side/bottom mounting points, .223 Cal.

SL8-6
USA version, black, single stack, aluminum sort rail, G36 vented foregrip, side/bottom mounting points, .223 Cal.

SL8-10
Canada version, black, double stack, short rail, G36 vented foregrip, side/bottom mounting points, .223 Cal

news from H.E.R.A. Arms

HERA Arms has said that the SL8 and USC conversions are both still in production and available. The G36 and MA15 projects are on hold.

LAN World is the US distributor. I would assume since Arms East is the Canadian distributor the same will apply.

I think that there is some misconception about our product line availability. I hope I can clear some of this up for you.....

You can purchase our full product line from LAN World Inc, you can contact them for prices and shipping times. We are sending shipments out on weekly bases for them.

The only products that have been at this time put on hold are the G36 & MA15. They will be coming out again sometime this year. Presently we are working on a few other projects such as the GLOCK PDW carbine conversion. You can check out the pre-release videos on Youtube.com

So all in all... The BCK and USC products are available for purchase!!!

Its not anything against Arms East but more towards HERA. These are just a cheap injection molded plastic. If they sold them for 5-1O bucks each they'd make 1000 percent profit and sell a million of them. But they want to charge what will end up to be $80 retail and end up selling none. Worse thing is not selling many they'll likely cancel the line and end up shelving a great idea. Must work for the Gov't in their off season. Figures...
