Why have the supply of these dried up at dealers? Were not named by OIC if I’m correct
Should be bringing them in by the boat load
True, I’m also wondering why these stopped being imported.
T97 is dated, bring in the QBC 191
I actually did this with mine. It's very sturdy and I like the feel a lot better.

Seems reasonably easy and the polymer is probably strong enough, despite the fact that I like the look & functionality over stock there's something I can't put my finger on that makes me skeptical.
Is it just me or does the Type 97 Gen 3 have no cleaning kit in the pistol grip?
I'm still waiting for a video of someone taking the actual bolt apart, including removing the firing pin. I think this is the only rifle I've ever seen with so much hype, but so little in terms of repair resources. I get that it's best to get a 2nd T97 for parts being Norinco and all, but still.

The cleaning kit in the pistol grip actually comes with punches for knocking out the rollpins in the bolt. The firing pin is just an AK firing pin but a bit shorter. I bought an AK firing pin from the US and VERY VERY CAREFULLY cut it down to size.
