The T97 Thread!

Success!

I saw the new Star Wars film the other night and couldn't help but be reminded of the stormtroopers' blasters when I saw this.

Okay, so I've looked at it ... I just do not get what the point of it is -- does it actually help you hold the rifle more comfortably? (compared to an angled grip on the forward lower rail, that is.)

I find it more controllable with the recoil and for followup shots. To the point that I have a front vertical grip on all my toys.

Wouldn't it almost make a little more sense to try and sand down the mag well in the gun, so that every mag works, and not just the mags that you've modified?

The metal mags already fit fine. If I shaved the magwell down they would be loose. And the mag issues I've had so far are from loose mags, not tight.

Details plz?

Was shooting some 4-5 shot groups. Whatever I had in the mag at the time. 100 yards. Prone.

Bushnell 3-9x scope. FTU, LHG.

Most were 1.5 to 2 inches. This one is under an inch.

Can anyone give me a measurement from the T97 magwell? I'm working on a project and need to check the variation in the Chinese QC.

The measurement I need is from front to back, just below the rim on the magwell in Imperial if you can.

What we're you aiming at ? Seems an odd spot to aim for on the target! Get that group in a bullseye

Didn't wanna throw a new target out yet, it was pretty shot up. Was aiming for the mid of the thick line. So I'm just slightly up.

I'd like to do a video of various groups with various ammo if I can get out on a nice day
