I for one, do not understand why some folks insist upon comparing apples to oranges. There is no real comparison possible between any of the rifles professionallly-designed and formally adopted for national mililtary service and our amateur-designed, domestically-manufactured AR180B derivatives. They are worlds apart. Sure, there is some performance overlap in terms of accuracy, reliability and durability, however in the bigger picture there is no fair comparison possible.
If we are going to compare the Templar to the WK-180 or its predecessor WS-MCR, or the forthcoming BCL Siberian, then fair enough. Those are all valid comparisons of platforms competing on a level playing field. Likewise, if you are going to compare anytihng to the X95 then the field ought to include the likes of the CZ Bren. Those are valid comparisons...
You are absolutely correct. Which is why, when a couple of my friends have asked my advice in choosing a rifle in the last year, I've steered them toward the Bren2 or X95. It's a no-brainer.
