Direct Crusader links; not sure if Kosher, so mods feel free to nuke if need be:
Triggertech trigger version, black pistol grip and ACR stock, $2249, same price as black version, https://www.crusaderarms.ca/product/Templar/18?cp=true&sa=true&sbp=false&q=false
.

Same as above with milspec trigger, $1999, https://www.crusaderarms.ca/product/Templar/17?cp=true&sa=true&sbp=false&q=false.

I see that their current pics show a right-side-folding stock. I wonder if that's actually true, as the previous ones folded to the left...

Nice catch! Firing from folder is a neat trick, but it practically useful? I wonder if they changed it because it locks up better when folded in an the right. I will inquire and report back...

Spectre Steve confirmed the pictures used an original Magpul stock, which folds right; all factory rifles come with F5 inverse clones, that fold left, and will indeed fire with the stock open. They intended to use Magpul stocks before they found Magpul had ceased production, which is why many beauty shots use the Magpul and not the F5 factory stock.

It is past time that Crusader Arms updated their promotional photos of the Templar to show only rifles equipped with the factory, LEFT-Folding Buttstock. The continued use of legacy photos showng a rifle equipped with the discontinued Magpul product causes un-necessary confusion among potential customers. This is not the first time that this exact subject has come up in the various discussion forums.

What has everyone decided to put on for optics on their Templars? So far I've seen pictures with an LPVO and an ACOG.

I'm planning on putting a Sig Romeo 4S on my Sentinel.

I always put a magnified optic on a new rifle and test for accuracy with known loads and factory ammo to help inform my decision as to what optic to put on it. With NR length gas guns I tend to run LPVOS (often times with an offset red dot) so for instance, if the rifle shoots <2 moa I'd go with a higher mag LPVO (like a 1-8 or 1-10) to exploit it's precision capabilities at range. If the rifle shoots much over 2 moa (this is with factory match ammo or known match loads) then I'd be looking more at a 1-4 or 1-6 or maybe a fixed 3x or 4x (Acog or Elcan). I kinda struggle with putting a simple red dot on a NR length rifle just because that extra barrel length generally equates to a bit more of an effective range (than something in the 10.5-14.5" length range) and makes the rifle less handy and fast to point although it does make sense if you're really trying to keep things as light as possible or you only really want to use it for close range but keep things NR.

Has anyone been having trouble getting ahold of crusader arms recently ? I’ve sent them a few emails over the last week and haven’t heard anything. I also tried messaging them on Instagram too. Just seems odd because they were answering sometimes within the hour now it’s seems impossible to talk to them.

Has anyone’s order shipped or heard anything from them since Black Friday sale?

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone knows of a phone number for the Crusader team. I ordered mine Nov 24th directly from them. I received a phone call at the beginning of last week where they told me my rifle had been returned to them from Canada Post due to an error with shipping info... even though it was correct as shown on my drivers license, when they read it back to me. They also told me that there may have been an issue with the payment although I still see the processed and confirmed charge through my Visa account, with no refund or credit. I've sent emails, I've reached out on Instagram, I've tried the contact us portal. I'm just not sure what to do at this point on getting the issue resolved.
Thanks to anyone who took the time to read this.

Ouch!! This situation is ridiculous and should have never been allowed to come to pass! Crusader Steve and the gang really need to step up their Customer Service game ASAP. The Templar is a fine product, however that is not the end all and be all. Customer Service and Support are equally important as a quality product. After sales service is key to the overall positive customer experience.

I forwarded Davis0944's post to Spectre Steve on Instagram when he was online. Not sure who missed including it, but the problem was the package was missing the apartment number for a multi-dwelling address, so it was returned to Crusader/Spectre. It will be on its way back tomorrow with the complete address.

Thanks for the help Ustauk. They reached out to me explaining the situation in detail on the 9th (the day of your post) and I have the unit in hand as of today!

Thanks everyone.

Really thinking about buying one of these. Little concerned about the weight and more than a little concerned over the lack of customer support. So still on the fence.

Great to hear! Please give us update when you have a chance to shoot!

Legitimate concerns.

Weight isn't great but it's far from terrible. It handles well.
Crusader seems to be struggling with ramping up their operations and definitely lacks a solid customer support system. I do, however, know of a number of people (including myself) who received rifles with no real issues.

It's a solid rifle though.
