Yes different charging handle on Templar. It is mounted with 2 fasteners so it wouldn’t fit the CRU9 or the Sentinel without also replacing the charging rod. Yes it is possible for us to release that seperately.

A request from CGN that I echo; it would be cool to see some pictures of a completely disassembled Templar's components. People in particular want to see the robust mid-length piston. Also is there any anti-rotation features to the gas block, or is at least well torqued? Thanks!

We do have our rifle out to some reviewers who will be releasing videos on these items.

There is an rotation features to the gas block the two screws that hold the gas block on go into two holes that are on the barrel and the Tolerancing is tight so that the screws act like dowels. there’s also red Loctite put on those screws

Glad to see the Crusader/Spectre folk have been paying attention and are trying to fix the issues known from earlier 180 variants!

Any indications on the how the stock is attached? Would love if it was 1913 and could pick up the stock to throw on my R18.

The stock is attached to an adapter that mounts where the buffer tube screws in (ie the lower on the Templar that comes with a buffer tube is the same as the one that comes with the ACR stock) so it will fit on a Crusader as well (if it's sold separately at some point).

I'm thinking about one of these as my first black rifle. How accurate are they out to 200 yards with the stock barrel?
Hand loads should be an honest 1 to 1 1/4 MOA, great factory ammo 1 1/2 MOA and cheap stuff around 2+.

Shooting off a bench,with a 3-15 scope.
Probably double that if shooting off hand.

So shouldn’t be any problems at 2 or 3 hundred yards.

At least that was my experience with a WK 180 gen 2 that I had.

I think that people tend to say what they think their rifle "should" group, rather than how they actually perform. Can we please see some test targets with 1 MOA handload results and 1.5 MOA premium factory ammo groups? They should ideally be 10-round groups with declared flyers, from rack-grade WK-180s and WS-MCRs. Just like I provided for the R18 Mk2 in the "Redux" thread.

I was using Hornady superformance 53 g .
Also what I use for reloading.
Sorry all I shoot is 5 round groups.
I h

Didn’t realize it was bumped up to 10 though.

I might still have the target at home somewhere though.
I have nothing to gain by telling lies though.

Would it still count if I did two , five round groups?

At 21 yards???

the sarcasm clearly went over your head on that one. lol

Far too many people put "accuracy" on a pedestal regardless of the firearms intended purpose. Most modern semi autos ARE NOT designed to be tac drivers. Its reality. An NO, you shouldnt expect it to shoot 1MOA simply because it was expensive.

Guy buys ANYTHING MODERN ....." meh 3000$ rifle doesnt shoot 1MOA. Its worthless overpriced crap"

Guy buys WK180 crap and shoots a miracle 1MOA group ......."meh 1500$ rifle shoots 1MOA with unicorn grade ammunition when the stars aligned. Its perfect."

Not calling you a liar, just growing weary of the continuous claims of $1200 AR180 clones shooting 1 MOA with Norinco ammo all day, every day, never backed up by actual targets, with actual groupings. Sorry if I offended with my use of your specific, declared group sizes. They are siimply typical of what I frequently see claimed without evidence.

I agree 100% with what 84wh1 said in relation to people's unrealistic expectations of accuracy performance. 2 MOA is actually pretty good and is entirely acceptable for most military-style semi-autoatic rifle action and barrel combinations. Even 3 MOA is not uncommon (eg. Tavor/X95) and while "meh" it would still satisfy military specifications.

Nothing went over my head, I’m well aware what a modern semi can and can not do.
I’ve spent enough money on after market crap to make an informed opinion .

Yeah, I know exactly what your saying.
I could post all the pics but they mean squat if I’m bull ####t ing.

My experience was always with an aftermarket trigger, higher magnification optic and always benched.
I’ve never used anything but Hornady 53 vmax and 55 g Nosler BT.
Add some Varget and your set.

I wouldn’t claim any of these guns to be a true MOA gun in stock configuration, but with the right aftermarket trigger/ barrel combo it’s very doable.
