So they just used a photo of an existing 5.56 gun and wrote 308 underneath? That bodes well. Gotta build up hype to grab that pre-sale money, I guess.

i think they are fighting a losing battle against the tavor at that price. and personally $3k is the psychological limit on what i'd risk on a firearm these days. mebbe i'll just keep my winchester 100 and paint it black so i can hang with the cool kids.

Looks like Crusader is going to make a lot of money selling these. High demand with little supply, perfect storm for them. Kudos to Crusader for bringing people what they asked for.

right now website says they are 'built to order'; doesn't sound like a high volume undertaking to me. perhaps high profit if they run with an (apparently) high mark-up ...

I wish them luck, I really do. I actually really like my Crusader 9. But I can't justify spending the same amount of money on an untested rifle with no track record when I could get a Tavor 7, tested and battle proven.

I hope, for CA's sake, they have the QA more in hand for this run.

A lot more forces being absorbed by the frame and components on a .308 platform than a 5.56.

It couldn't use the same lower. The magwell can't be widened, only converted down (as with the Crusader 9 magwell adapter)

If they had set the price point at $2500 or even up to $2700, I might have considered. But the same price as a new Tavor is overstretch.

hey - you can get a lockhart raven in 308 on sale for $2800 right now. they must buy their vapour from a cheaper source.

Same, between $2000-$2500. I thought this would be priced similar to those BCL102s.
