This .22LR shortage is starting to piss me off.

So I got the remainder of my order today, well sort of... UPS guy dropped it off at a "drop off point" without writing on the slip where it was... after 30 min on the phone with ups I found out where it was and went to get it. Hummmm I thought as I saw the bashed up box that was just only in one piece . It looked like they used one piece of tape to wrap it, they also didnt pad it very well so the ammo was "bouncing" around in there. Oh well I thought, when I opened it at home I wasn't surprised to see loose ammo inside the box, in the end I counted the ammo, there are a few rounds missing, which are probably in some ups vehicle out there. Pretty upset and will not order from Cabelas again.
Yup im trying real hard not to order from them as I had exactly the same bad experiance as you.I did speak to a supervisor and got a free $20 gift card ,should have been $50 for all the hassle.

300ct. CCI Choot'em packs for sale in the EE, $50 each, have at it!

what a son of a #####... he's trying to get you to pay for his shipping of his cabelas order :D (he probably also got the free shipping deal that was on when they had those in stock)

Lol so in tge long run if he does sell the ammo he make $100 max.
That isnt alot imo.
I bought 30+ bricks of dynapoint for 31.50 tax in.
Its now $42. So $10 a brick. $300 profit if I sold everything.
Thats all great but then Im out off 22 and would have to buy st 10+ cents a round.
Id rather sit on it and give it to my kids.

The price of 22 ammo latley makes the Lapua Standard Plus not so bad and easy too find as well.I have 3 bricks coming for $260 all in tax,s and shipping.LGS wants $13 a box would be $260 before tax for only 2 bricks .F that!!Also there Yellow jacket's were $70 a brick I think ill start using the Lapua standard more.

Damn 260 for 1500 rounds. Crazy!
It was 200 and change for a case of AE two years ago.
@ 17+ cents a round, Ill shoot centerfire surplus!

Thats just for my bolt gun the 10/22 gets the 6 cent /round bulk crap.Gotta treat myself once in awhile!I'll also make it last.Yup my last crate norinco was $402 tax's in for 1120 rounds.

Just picked up mini mags from Kelly's in Inwood. He had a couple of the 1600 packs left for $192. It's not on the website because he figures it will clear out by Wed.

Wow! That's 12 cents a round.

I got a case of CCI mini mags in December for 8 cents a round and I thought I was over paying at the time. 5000 rounds for $400 out the door is what I paid.

Our local Canadian Tire always seems to have 22lr available, looks like they loaded up for the long weekend. Don't get me wrong those bricks of AE were less than half that price last year now they want $50/400rds, ouch!

I'd rather get it from cabelas for $35.

I've found ammo is cheaper at CT and Peavey Mart than Cabelas. Shotgun target loads were over a buck a box more last time I was there, also the .17hmr was almost $3/box more than it is at walmart for the same stuff. I don't mind Cabelas for most stuff but unless it's on sale I don't buy my ammo there, it's also a 45 minute drive to Regina so add $20 (in gas) to anything I buy from Cabelas and that usually makes it not worth going there.
