I don't understand why do people want AK MAGS? Are they superior or something? Can you put 30 rounds legally in them. What's the deal?

They should be somewhat cheaper, I know I wouldn't be happy having to pay the $40 mentioned for Type 81 mags.

The other thing is the huge selection, including factory polymer, Magpuls, Circle 10s, you name it.

For $1000 it needs to have the same or better bluing quality and metal finish as the military ones. Not going to get it if it's got crap finish and parkerized.

TI or whoever else is importing these please listen to your potential customers.

What's funny is people paid a premium for a Parked Grey Colt Canada Lower... But now its not good enough on a Type 81... lol...

The military ones are blued? Or was that just the 10 or so that made it to the US 30 years ago?

Compare to upwards of $60 for Bakelite ak mags. Or more for drums. $40 for 81 mags isn't far off what 30 round metal AK mags cost, if you can find them. AK pmags are out there, but the unreinforced ones are meh. Second gen ak pmags aren't so bad.

Yup same poor quality parkerized finish as the FN C1, M14, 870P, C7A2, FN MAG58, M60, BHP, M2 50cal, M1 Garand.... LMAO you guys are killing me LOL!!! If you put oil on it, the finish will look smooth and dark like every other parkerized gun in the world.

The price on most of them should come down once there is a regular supplier.

It's really odd...I don't get it either.

"I want mine blued!" "But it's finished like most Military Rifles." "What?!?"...ovrec (replace the "N" with a "1".)

No they aren't. And they never will be. AK mags are cheap and plentiful.

Ya. Cuz tapco mags scream quality. And yes I have some.

By the time those specific mags get in country, you are looking at 20 to 39 bucks per mag. For a short mag. You can get chinese metal short mags in canada for that price.

If you want 30 round body metal mags, you are in the 30 to 40 price range again from irg.
