Type 81 Owners Corner !

Is this for grenades? Or one can use it for fast 500+ yard transition?

According to the developer of the rifle, that bar has two functions. 1. to protent the rear sight from being scatched. The soldiers who equiped SKS and Type-56(AK-47) complained that if the paint on top of the rear sight was scratched off there would be glare when aim; 2. It's part of a quick-aiming system.

Honestly this has been the funniest thread since the T97 thread.

Guys I am gonna put together a rifle I'll call it T82 or T80 your call. 1g put it all down. you'll get it in about 2 years. Probably will come with 2 mags maybe 3 for the cool kids that preorder it. no returns though you get what you get, I might visit the landfill tomorrow I'll salvage some stuff to put together a preliminary prototype. It will be a cheaply put together canadian rifle. 1g. non restricted, nothing to complain about. :)

very realistic account of things, you only forgot the 20% restocking fee, well make it 30% while you are at it :)

Has anyone shot a bent rifle?? If so how does it shoot? If you don't want it I will give you 500 for it. I also have a bore straightness gage for 30 cal rifles if your on the east coast to see if your barrel is bent.

Put away the lazers, if you look down it and it looks straight and the bolt locks up just shoot it. These are not built by Colt or some other high end North American gun maker, and they're not a precision rifle, as long as the barrel isn't actually bent and it's square to the trunion it will be just fine.
Don't worry about a folding stock that doesn't lock up directly in line with the rest of the rifle.

Has anyone with a CZ or VZ done the same type of OCD testing on those rifles? I'd be interested to see a few pics of the results.
