I have a lot of play when the bolt is locked up also what would it take to get that bend out I tellya what id like to do just grip it like a baseball bat and swing it over my head F#*kin smashing it on the concrete floor in my basement over and over while screaming until I loos my voice get dizzy and fall over F#*KIN CHINESE GARBAGE!!!

Pics or it didn't happen!!!!! LOL.....I got 20$ EMT ready if you video this! Anyone else wanna throw a 20$ EMT down for live video feed on this?

Ill take some pics later but the folder is sharp at the hinge so when holding the gun you will on my rifle eventually get cut today wont matter as ill have gloves now that its actually cold here

Well if it's actually shard in critical areas, you could round them with a file but then you would want to re-blue those areas.

I must have just lucked out!!! I have zero complaints, I also understood that I was ordering a sheet metal rifle stamped on a press to old world standards. I knew I wasn't ordering a CNC machined show gun. It's a battle axe, and I could not be happier with it.... Lovin my Type 81 and will be ordering a fixed stock on the next shipment!!

LOL Probably exactly how they hand fit them at the factory!

Headspace should be no issue, why you ask?

Well the bolt locks into the trunnion which the barrel is screwed into. If the trunnion is misaligned with the sheet metal receiver, it will have zero effect on the headspace.

I assure you nothing is throwing off the laser I am a professional laserometor operator and the bloody rifle is bent the receiver specifically. I struggled to get a picture that shows this its easy to see with the human eye when my dad was lookin it over and handling the rifle he made the same observation without me saying a thing about a bend or curve to it. The images I have shown you can see the bend realy starts about 1/3 of the way down the receiver like the laser is on the edge of the hammer. I just don't know if I want to have a bolt and carrier slamming back and forth in a F#*kin banana shaped receiver also thank you guys for comments I value all of your opinions on the pictures

Mr professional laserometer guy, your rifle doesn't actually look that bad, looking at your laser line at the back of the receiver, it's only off a small amount if you look at the part that matters. A crooked stock means nothing, I'd just use that rifle if it was mine. It will probably reliably shoot more ammo than you'll ever try to feed it.
Your expectations are a little off if you expect to need to use lasers to see if the rifle is perfect, using your method I would bet you would find every rifle is "bent", they don't need to be perfect, you're letting the internet make you oversensitive.

Put away the laser and go outside with your rifle and shoot it, it's way more fun that way.

Also noticing this upon getting home to clean rifle marked up dust cover from where rounds are ejecting could just imagine what it will look like after a few thousand rounds

Well if this bugs you, thank your lucky stars you never bought a $4000 Swiss Arms rifle :p

Someone is totally going to invent a little clip-on piece of elastomer like they did for the valmet and Swissarms.

In the real world, AK's and similar guns just wear the finish off there and the users have other more important things to worry about, like not getting shot on the battlefield.

The only think I'm worried about is when my other 8 mags are gonna get here so I can run a type 81 meltdown test just like those "AK 47 meltdown videos" on YouTube.....but it's pretty hard with mags that are only pinned to 5 rounds

Got my folder today. I never had a tracking number but here it is. At first I thought it was bent but now I don't know what to think.
It looks straight enough stripped down. Kind of looks bent to the right when assembled and you have a look at it in your hands.
The folding stock is tilted a bit to the right though. The mags are nice and work great.
