Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Hello everyone, this is my first post!

I've been lurking to try and see when I would get my transfer through and it just got approved!
Thought I'd add to your data pool and let you know that they're completing transfers.
I ordered May 30th, 4 hours after the handgun transfer announcement.

Business to Private (Ontario)
My ref # is 58890XX
That's May 30th -> July 25. (56 days)

I still have another wheel-gun that I purchased on June 2nd to be transferred.

Hopefully most of the people who ordered around the start of the announcement will get theirs soon, anyone ordering after June 5-7th will probably have to wait much longer due to the high influx of transfers between May 31st and June 7th.

Thanks for the update! That makes it 2400 transfers between July 14 - 25 (7 business days), things seemed to have slowed up quite a bit. This could be due to most provinces clearing up their respective backlogs and most of the reference numbers now coming from Ontario.
 
Kind of a side thought here, but for people that have actually gotten their transfers through, have you noticed any additional delay in the registration certificate coming in the mail? Normally its always been a week or two after the transfer goes through that the registration arrives. I'm wondering if anyone's noticed delays in this part as well though?

Person to person transfer, makes more sense now. All retailer purchases seem to have been going in numeric progression.

Got mine 13 days after the approval email.
So about the same as before.
