Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

I have #s ranging from June 28 - 5955### to 5978### (which happened today or some days ago). By the time I get them goodies, it would be next year. There better not be some OIC BS that freezes initiated transfers. I know it's been said many times that initiated transfers will be processed but who knows! I hope I'm just being paranoid. At this rate, I won't be seeing some goodies until next year.

5896### ... Purchased May 31... transfer submitted June 2 - nothing yet. Thinking the chart posted elsewhere here may be getting reasonably close estimates. That would put me into early next week.

Seems like of rate of processing has really picked up, based on datapoint it seems ontario is processing close to 75 per day !!! I am talking about business to private. I am not tracking private to private. If this is true, we should start seeing June 2nd transfers to start by second week of aug.

Dates in charts are dates I expect that day to finish.

58893xx transfer complete.
June 1 to July 27.

Of course we obviously don't have all the numbers, but from my limited info (I've forked the spreadsheet in this thread and added info from people who don't want it released), there's been at least 4,300 transfer completed country-wide between July 12 and July 27. Hard to estimate a provincial rate from that as we don't know how fast (in relative terms) Ontario is working compared to other provinces. For reference those 4,300 transfers begin over the course of 3 days (May 30 - June 1).

So it's taking 15 days to complete 3 days worth of transfers, or 5 days to work through a single day of transfer submissions... and we haven't hit when the transfer submissions really peaked in the first week of June yet.

So if you want a baseline, low-end estimate of how long your transfer will take... start with maybe 50 days as a baseline (before all this stuff started) and add 5x the number of days between May 30th and whenever your transfer was submitted. In reality, do the calculation first then add a day for every stat. holiday during that time period.

Ex. Mine started June 29, June 29 - May 30 = 31 days, 5 x 31 + 50 = 205 days / January 20 2023 ... + Canada day, + Labour day, + Reconciliation day (federal holiday I believe), + Thanksgiving, + Remembrance Day (federal holiday), + Christmas, + Boxing day, + New Years day = January 28 2023 for me, unless the Ombudsman complaints start working.

Interesting. Will track and see how that estimate fits. My May 31 purchase transfer was submitted on June 2 (5896###) so that means June 2 - May 30 is 3 days so 3x5=15 plus 50 = 65. add in July 1 and the August holiday so should go through around 67 days or August 8.
Will post when I get notice and see how close your estimate hits. Gotta have something to occupy the brain while we wait eh?
