Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Viewing RCMP IWS using the ATT method. To my surprise, I have a new one business to private restricted on the list but no email confirmation.

Does anyone know when I'll get an email if it hasn't been sent yet?

I can only assume it was approved today or yesterday. Don't have transfer number on me at the moment but it was initiated on July 10th. Wolf's chart is spot on.

Try emailing the CFO and make sure they have your email and it is correct.
Let them know you didn't get an email notification of an approved transfer.
 
I’m assuming there’s some sort of proof the store would ask for before taking your word for it and shipping out the item?

For sure they’d check it out first. They have direct computer access to initiate and reverse a transfer so it should be pretty easy for them to verify a transfer has been completed. Some dealers weren’t getting email notifications for transfers and the buyers had to forward the email to them. That was a few months ago so don’t know if it’s still happening.

Agreed. Sending an email should get a response. I had outgoing p to p and seen on my ATT list that it was gone and hadn’t gotten an email about the transfer. I just sent the CFO an ATT request for this item and got the ATT one hour later. Got the email transfer notification later that day.

My email is correct since I have received a few transfer approval emails already.

I will let my dealer know it has been approved in case they haven't received notification either and they can go verify on their end.

These type of email glitches seem to happen frequently according to this forum but I don't know how many actually did receive one at the end without asking CFO to resend it. It really should not happen anymore. I never experience email glitches from big companies or sending out email with my free email provider. RCMP IWS should be the same. Our tax dollars at work. lol
 
A weird one here, similar to above 59336xx, P-P approved today, however I know the buyer has just called in within the last couple of weeks to complete their end. I initiated another on the same phone call, and that buyer completed their side back in June, and it has still not been approved.
 
If anyone knows I am sure Claven2 does, he seems to know everything about the CFP and how it works.

No mystery here! I just read everything that comes out in access to information requests and talk to the cfo staff when they show up in person at the major events. Most everything about the cfo and cfc and how they interact has been discussed here ad nauseum by smarter ppl than me.

They are products of policy and process. Like any other bureaucrat. Today they run left. If their boss says to run right tomorrow, they will.
