Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Received approval for 59782xx today at 3:29pm.
Ontario business to personal, initiated on July 27.

I originally thought it was initiated on July 28 as that's when I got the email from the business, so 1 day earlier is a pleasant surprise!

Did this twice. Both times got this exact response, any day now, no problem with the transfer. Lady who answered last week's call offered to transfer me to RCMP, said they might have a better answer, I agreed, waited on hold for about 10 minutes and than call just dropped :)
 
Another poster suggested them being asigned alphabetically, might well be right. My first was submitted August 1st, so... ya... backwards sucks...

Credit to whomever worked all weekend trying to get through them. Feel bad for them being stuck between c21, orders in council and the public, nothing they can do other than keep slogging through.
 
Are business to private transfers done in the businesses province or the buyers province? I ordered a pair of wranglers from Tenda in June and am wondering if I should email the cfo in Ontario or in Newfoundland where I’m at ?

Yea, everything is done by the province where receiver is located, I dont think it matters, business or private and Ontario is probably being the slowest one. Mine not a business but a trade ON to QC. Started/completed transfers same day. Person from Quebec got his paperwork mid November.

That’s the weird part to me I live in Newfoundland and had half of my transfers approved in less than a month but now I’m waiting on one from June? And have had other transfers approved that were purchased much later (august I think was my latest one) I phoned in and they told me to keep waiting and there’s nothing wrong with the paperwork but I’m starting to get concerned
