Should start seeing transfers resume in ernest this week. I have a couple high 598s that should clear within a week or so. Hope i get the person doing the batches!

Have you called the CFO about that one? Based on the timing it should have been processed long ago. I do realize that sometimes auction guns can run into difficulty if the paperwork isn't 100% accurate on the original owner's end, though.


I wasn't going to bother buying any more handguns when all the panic buying started (figured I had enough already). But then I came to my senses and bought a bunch more (mostly 12-6s in auctions). The first one should be getting towards the top of the pile soon, in time for a late Christmas present!

Ditto. I thought I'd owned or had owned all the handguns I'd ever wanted but Prophet River convinced me otherwise. 60106XX submitted August 23rd. I expect it in mid-February. I'll consider it a Valentines Day gift to myself.

I believe that all those batch transfers were a mistake by an employee at the CFO office, or an outlier, since they aren't supposed to be competing batch transfers. There were quite a few of these dice that one day but none since

How funny is that… working quickly and effectively is a mistake with our current government (or any govt as a matter of fact!)

I didn't. No. I wasn't expecting it until at least next month, so this really works out since I'm heading south and I didn't want this hanging around and have UPS leave it on my porch for a month (they did actually deliver it today without signature - good thing I was home!). I was kinda cheesed that the transfer started SO long after I actually made the purchase, but I doubt the vendor called in about it. He was more of a take-it-or-leave-it kinda guy, so I wasn't expecting any special treatment.
