For a private sale , does the buyer have to phone in with the reference number the seller provided? Just phone the regular 1800 line ?

yes that is correct. The lines are crazy busy so patience is a must. If you are having problems there are several threads on how to possibility get through quicker.

Variations from 3 to 5 weeks. Not too bad. I was also expecting a much longer wait. Hopefully the pile from the start of the month don't take too long to get through.

transfered 2 in the last couple weeks, first one took 5 minutes,Todays took aprox 30 min. its not so bad folks.Be well!

Buddy of mine just got his transfer notice. Purchased day of the announcement. Another guy in the CCFR group on FB got his as well.

Purchased May 31 @ 4:30 p.m., received the notice this morning. So three and half weeks...not bad considering it's Ontario.
