Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Bought May 31 (Bass Pro) - got transfer notice June 24 - picked up same day.
Bought May 31 - 3:30p.m. (online Tenda Canada) - still waiting... - registration number is over 13,000 numbers higher than Bas Pro purchase
Bought June 1 - 12:05 a.m. (online Tenda Canada) - still waiting...

I have 6 in the pipe, all from stores & none of them are completed here in ONTerrible...

Cabelas on June 3rd
Wolverine on June 3rd
IRUNGUNS on June 11th
Tenda (two of them) on June 11th AND the only Ref# I have: 59464**
Canada First Ammo on June 22nd

P.S. I will be complaining to the Ombudsman as we hit the 30 day mark for each of them...

Good luck with that. Cant even get them to answer the phone. Im trading pistols with another CGN member, he cant get anyone to answer the phone for a week now. Cant even get the transfer started.

Yeah, it's a pretty brutal endeavor. Took me 47 calls yesterday morning over the course of about 4 hours. I was lucky enough to be able to set aside a day for it.

Have you followed the passport fiasco ? People who loose their flight..no passport..application in since March - April and 36 hours + waiting outside inline ? This is way worse than waiting for a gun transfer and nothing is done over it.

I don’t thing anybody in that Gov. will cry over for our handgun transfer or lift a finger to speed it up. It just not important for people who are against guns.

3 months the Quebec CFO state. Ontario has 1/3 of the 60000 guns purchased in Canada ..my guess his this will take more than 3 months for Ontario transfer.

It suck. I sold one and purchased one from Ontario…and one from a dealer in Quebec….
