Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

So I have a friend that received his confirmation of approval on June 27 mid afternoon 5881###
I received my confirmation of approval for my pistol on July 5 late afternoon 5882###
there are exactly 1310 transfers and 6 business days between our approvals which works out to 218.33 transfers a day as the "NATIONAL" average. lets say of those transfers 40% are Ontario Purchases that works out to roughly 440 per week, which is in line with the number given to me by a vendor of transfers per week in Ontario.
So based off of my number with the addition of 218.33 transfers a day, we should be around reference number 5883590. This is a rough tool/calculation I ran but I hope this helps you all in estimating your transfers.
I have counted today so going forward just add 218.33 a day to 5883590 and that should give a rough idea.

If your estimate for today is correct then my June 3rd late transfer is approximately 24k behind the current number and will take 3 more months at the current rate! and thats just business days, so could be longer

Crickets on transfers from Ontario retailers from June 3 and 4.
Because they dont work on the weekend. Thursday they started June 1st transfers, and someone here posted their June 2nd approval came yesterday.
Cool, thank. Test case. Bought May 31’st #588637x. So about 2,780/218.33 = 12.75 business days is July 29’th.
I ordered from Tenda on June 1st and received a transfer notice from them on June 20th. So I guess Tenda sat on it before initiating the transfer. Probably because the entire country is buying handguns at the same time.

At that (218 per day) rate, my June 1st order, with a 5909### number will take... *checks math* ... 4 more months.
Edit -- I'm dumb, that would be assuming 100% of the orders are ontario. Probably 2 months if we assume 50% of the Restricted are coming to Ontario.

I recall seeing a letter a week or 2 ago from the Ontario CFO where they were asking people not to call them regarding their transfers.
At the time they said about 1/3 of all transfers nationwide were in Ontario, about 19k at the time if I recall correctly.

Yea I think people who are hoping that June 2/3 are going to be in a couple of weeks are wildly optimistic. The volume in those few days were insane, tens of thousands of transfers. My hope is that other provinces will finish and be able to lend a hand to push that case/day number higher for Ontario.

lol, I'm from Ontario. Doug Ford is only conservative in name.
Also, maybe not all of Ontario is the source of the Liberal plague, but the GTHA and Ottawa certainly are.
I used the numbers above to see when will I get my approvals, assumptions:
-yesterday 5883590 was processed
-ontario is 1/3 of national transfer
-ontario can do 500 transfer per week
My june 2nd transfer 5902### will take ~ 3 months from today
My June 9th transfer 5927### will take ~ 7 months from today

Call them for the reference number. Most stores were to busy at the time to email them.
I sent an email and asked for it. For June 9 I got the transfer # on July 4
And for June 2 I got it on June 8
Both of my transfers was initiated on same day of purchase, I was lucky.

You would need to know when the business initiated the transfer. It took many businesses a couple days after purchase to initiate the transfer. And then many days after that to get the reference number to the client.
I'd guess you're start date was anywhere from June 2 - June 5.
