That’s interesting because I thought the local CFO had to approve purchases even from out of province. I think this way is better but wasn’t aware they were capable with OPP managing Ontario transfers.

Anyone else think there is there is a politician involved here somewhere. Nordic applied the squeaky wheel wanting to get sales finalized or fearing the shut down of sales via the freeze. Some conservative politician called another politician in Ontario and voila doors open and Nordic stock is out the door!

Another Ontario transfer, 59868** initiated Aug 7th 2022, approved Oct 6th 2022, received email notification and shipping confirmation only from Nordic.
I have earlier transfers from June and July not approved yet, but I'm not complaining.

I believe any CFO can approve any transfer. Although, usually, they don't.
All CFOs must use the same online system/database to view and approve the transfers.
One hint is that all transfers are sequentially numbered across all of Canada.
Now I wish I had bought something from Nordic.
Anyone contact Nordic to see what's happening?
Look at it half full, If the Nova Scotia CFO is helping and processing transfers, each nordic transfer approved by anyone is another out of the way. I would be happy if Ontario handed off all the Alberta source sales to the Alberta CFO, Manitoba based to Manitoba etc. It would certainly help everyone in the same way batch transfers would.
I contacted Ontario CFO and asked : There is no change of process and this was simply done in error. In few cases the CFO of another province (NS,AB) has processed the transfer on behalf of ONTARIO CFO.
Currently they are processing June 7.
I expect to see June 8 to start soon.
