Q: Considering this monster thread, what do you think of the VZ-58 type rifle?

  • It is a beauty as it comes, and a must have, since it drives Libs bonkers.

How could you compare a VZ-58 with an SKS?? Well in Canada you can... The VZ58 has been nutered and not in it's full glory, while the SKS is almost stock. If you are a military arms collector you'll get one. If you are a practical shooter,and wanna save a buck or 2 and have no zeal for collecting, you'll settle with an SKS. It's like why should I get an AR-15 when I can get a 223 SKS (if the'll make it)?

They actually do make a 5.56mm version, but the comparison is like this IMHO.

Looking at some of the young ladies in uniform I'm wondering if it's the Czech army or the Slovak army I should be volunteering for !!!
