I talked to the Magic company several times and all I got for it is depression. They just dont call back with info. May be they dont want to sell it?
Just for info sake, the LADA system design was based on AK design, even the linked czech page states that and when you get your hands on it you will see it. AKs are stamped, VZ58 are machined, therefore more expensive. LADA was dumped because CZ would start manufacturing them only if the Army would order something like 40 000 of them at once. And the Army didnt. Now the system is considered obsolete. VZ58 has a good design, all the mentioned parts work well. The army knows it is hard to brake the VZ. Just consider the 58 is the year of adoption into service, it is an old rifle. CZ presented some modifications of VZ58 on a trade show this year. The 40mm granade launchers are not M203, they are czech design, but how much different could they be? The 26,5 mm granade launcher is much more interesting for collecting purpose, because only prototypes have been manufactured in the 80'. It has never been accepted for service. Nice pics, people.
