Hmm, three years ago I spotted a cow moose in the middle of a grain field at well over 700m away, there was no cover to stalk up on her so just walked normaly at her until she began to get nervous. I then flopped down prone, took a shot at 480 yards and missed high, holding for the wind I basucally put it on her nose and let another one fly and double lung shot, to make sure she didin;t go to far I put another one in her about 2 inches away from the 2nd shot (flukey, I'll admit).
