Whats the hardest kicking gun you ever fired?

For me it has to an a fellow CGN member's Nagant Carbine I got to try 2 years ago. The thing was just BRUTAL, by shot #5 I was just begging for mercy.

not a rifle but i fired a 416 Rigby revolver...... once hehehe :D , holy crap why on earth would anyone want to shoot one of those for fun??

.......my .45-70 guide gun shooting a 405 grainer at 1820 fps nudged me decently:D

...............i fire it at 1600 fps now as its more accurate and no unburnt powder for some reason at that velocity.

45ACPKING
Rigby revolver?!! Holy crap my #1 kicks bigtime and it weighs over 10 lbs. That must be some cylinder, would that be a 5 or 6 shot?

I can't remember, it was bought at lever arms a couple years ago by a guy i see once and a while at the range, he asked me if i wanted to squeeze off a shot or two.... I stopped after 1 LOL , it was a great big stainless steel thing, looked pretty cool but holy crap what a kicker.

Just a Remington 700 bdl 30.06 bought new in 1983 still use it all the time. The
black plastic butt plate was a killer it reminded me of shooting my dads .303 with the metal butt plate.I have since installed a recoil pad on the .06.

well i think the hardest kicking rifle i ever fired was a shotgun a singel barel 12 gauge break action to be exact not that i find 12 gauges to kick hard but this one opened everytime you fired so as soon as you hear the bang you get this nice hot empty hull hitting you in the face was always fun firing that one

The hardest kicking gun I ever fired was my .243 and I think I'll stick to that. Also I am only 14 and a girl so that is good enough.:)

Whatever turns yer crank, I guess  I remember when I was 14 and shot my grandpa's Brno .222 for the first time  I'd never experienced anything bigger than a .22 rimfire, so I nearly soiled my underoos when I pulled the trigger! Ohhhhhh what a rush though, it still makes me chuckle :D

I'd like to try one of those PTRD anti-tank rifles someday. I was thinkin' about getting one when Marstar had them, but I decided I didn't really have $1500 to spend after all :( Shooting something chambered in .600 Nitro Express is on my list of things to do before I die, as well.

Shot an M44 quite a few times (my first time shooting a centerfire rifle, a number of years back) without a recoil pad or the like. Also, when I first got my 870, I was shooting 1-1/2 ounce #4 shot, and one of my jackets' clips/buttons got between my shoulder and the shotgun; that left a nice bruise.

Maybe a muzzle brake would help. :)
Is there enough gas coming out the muzzle of a .22 to make a muzzle brake work? I fart louder than my .22 sometimes, and I can guarantee that the volume of gas is higher than any rimfire round! Kinda left myself wide open for a brokeback joke with that one, didn't I?

Only if the farts come out with a weak "pfffffft" instead of a trumpet blast. All kidding aside, the worst kicking gun I've ever shot was a friends 340 Weatherby.

Well, I have shot a ruger #1 .375H&H, Marlin .444, .300 Weatherby, and my .338wm. Those would be the biggest and not too bad. But the rifle that kicks the hell out of me is my LE .303 with the steel but plate. Just took it to the range a week ago and my shoulder is all bruised up. On the bench I have to scrunch the neck at a weird position to use the iron sights and I hate that rifle. Does not fit well at all.
