What's your all-time favorite black rifle? Not because it's the "best".... but just because it's cool to you

I thought the early Model 601 rifles, the first AR-15s adopted by the US Air Force in 1959, had the green furniture. If I'm not mistaken, the brown was on the earliest AR-15 built in the late 1950s. Those two were kind of, sort of, more or less what I was going for with these two

My 601 clone is sporting a set of Green Brownells furniture. Mine is simply more subdued than yours. The light/camera also makes mine look much more Brown than it appears to the unaided eye.

Have fondled a few as a couple friends have them, but I do not. Wish I did.
Excellent choice. Surprisingly controllable once you get the hang of it, and a surprisingly shallow learning cure to get there.

The problem is the very thing that gives it its controllabilty, the old chattergun is BIG and HEAVY. Get NFA/other local restrictions repealed and the line reopened and I'll take a 1928AC "Chicago Typewriter" beefed up for .45 Super. :)

My "best" is my Tavor21. The one nearest and dearest to my heart is my T97 gen1 with the FTU. My first black rifle, and still works like a charm.

Huh, really looks brown in the photo. I should have known you wouldn't get something like that wrong!! Nicely done clone in any case.

I'd pull the trigger on a fightlite raider if I lived in a free country,

as for my personal favourite...hmmm i will have to think about it

I love the look of the CZ Scorpion Evo 3.

Before they were banned, I always thought the price on them were pretty reasonable.

I got the opportunity to shoot one once. It was nice, but nothing spectacular. I'll still probably buy one if I get the chance.

I would perpetrate acts of dubious morality if it meant I could get my hands on a VSS Vintorez. Combloc 9x39 guns and PDWs make my PP-2000 жесткий

On that note if anyone ever brought a decent 5.45/9x39 or 7.62x25 Carbine to market here, I'd be all over it like flies on a dog turd. Just as long as it's not BCL or Kodiak lol
