Who is buying a Type81?

Why??

Some of my CSA rifles were utter garbage and the only way they could even fix them is by giving me brand new omes

I would like the 5 years warranty. I don't have lots of guns so the ones I have get allot of use and that equals allot of wear and tear. Was it a 7 inch barrel version giving you trouble?

Despite having to send in my CSA once for repairs its still good to know how simple it is to get it fixed.

And who is to say that the Type 81 won't be the same (other then 5 year warranty)???

All it does is goto show people saying that "oh its Chinese and it will be garbage" have no fvcking clue cuz my Norinco 1911a1 pistol has yet to break a part yet a POS sig tactical pustol had broken down more times then I can count not to mention my 7.5" vz which needed replacing, first 11.8" vz needed new parts and 1.of my 18.5" vz need.new gas holes drilled.
Hmmmmm

ill wait till they land no way im putting 100% deposit months in advance for something that given the RCMP may never arrive

LOL! RCMP just approved it! Took them what? 4 or 5 years of looking for a reason to prohibit it and couldn't find one! Unless the Liberals change Law (could happen) RCMP are done with it, it's restricted/nonrestricted class depending on barrel length.

I ordered one up while able to do so because I'm not sure yet if these will be one of those rifles that floods the market (like SKS) or will be a one production run gun and done type deal. Either way I'm in!

so what they UN approve IE prohibit things all the time ruger 10/22 mags last week what's next? they may never prohib these rifles but id rather wait till they are here then waste time trying to get a deposit back if they went prohib I also have a early restricted vz58 that's a proven rifle with parts available

Getting super stoked now! If on time, they are only 67 days away at the latest!!! :)

When was the last time Tactical Imports got anything into the country within 3 months of the claimed arrival time?

Oh... right... Never.

Don't hold your breath.

OK, for those of you who seem to still struggle with the concept, i'll let you in on a little secret ; the vast majority of us who preordered the rifles don't mind the wait. If for you delays are a deal breaker, fine. But for most of us, it isn't, and we're just happy to be the firsts to have purchased these rifles.

Now that you know this amazing scoop, you can go whine about something else, somewhere else...and come back and be jealous when we receive our guns and post pictures.

I've put money down on pre-orders before. With companies I trust.

I wouldn't trust TI as far as I could spit them. They have a proven track record of missing deadlines and failure to deliver.

I want to buy one but I am not on the pre order list. I will be waiting to see if they are poorly made junk first.

I also have a feeling they are going to take a lot longer to arrive than we are hoping for.

Another little secret ; for those of us who have ordered, its not a matter of having to choose between the two.

neither is it for me ;) So now that you have ignorantly attempted to be condescending. Do you have some sort of personal steak in it? You are so defensive about it.
