Who shoots a 10?

I've shot all three of the 10ga semi's. The Browning is far superior in handling, balance and reliability. The first time I stripped mine down to clean it my first thought was "this thing is an SX1 on steroids" and I wasn't far off as it turns out it was designed by the same person who designed the SX1. The Ithaca was an unreliable muzzle heavy beast and the SP10 was a revamp of the Ithaca.

I've shot a few 10ga guns yrs back and found them to be a tad too hefty & unwieldy fer me uses. The rudest kicker of the bunch was an H&R 176
single shot and the least booty one was a Browning Gold. Tried an amigo's BPS out as well. Never owned a 10 ga chambered gun, but I shoot
clays using Mossberg 835's. The 10 bore barrels & choke tubes allow for better patterns with target loads than any gun I've owned.

Me current "12-Tenner" is a 24" barrelled 835 Turkey unit that works fine for me as I don't hunt geese and only weighs a tad over 7 lbs.
