And that is an extremely reasonable offer. Funny how the same users like that who ask ridiculously high prices are the often the same ones who make ridiculous low ball offers and get frustrated when you don’t accept.

Don’t forget the part about the current gun they’re selling being the most ergonomic, most accurate, most reliable gun they’ve ever shot. They don’t really want to sell, despite putting up a WTS, and really want to keep it. Oh ya, don’t forget, it’s also unfired.

On a serious note, very happy with my decision to turn down a bunch of these guys in the past. This whole thing has confirmed suspicions about character.

I know what ad you are talking about, the price is FIRM at 4K not even 3999 will get it

Did you see that the S&W 1911 .45 at the bottom of the ad is sold for 3600$ FIRM

I cannot belive it either

Maybe the seller baited the second gun and marked it SOLD so it will make people think the colt is worth it at 4K ?
 
Not sure if this has been posted, but CSC has an antique Webley that they are asking $40k for. Garry James from Guns n Ammo values them at $5k tops, USD.

Maybe not, but at this rate the point will come sooner than later where licensing has little to do with procurement or use.
