I do want to try my hand at scratch building at some point but that STI Spartan V is nice...

In my head I'm thinking if I get the STI then I'll have a really nice shooter as per what i've read.
SAM is also a great choice which leaves me space to get more ammunition, reloading supplies and other likes.
Dilemma. haha

One of my friends,,old Colt guy, got one of CANAMMO's deals,,, "You know, that Chinese Colt works as good as any of my Colt's" But border wise,, probably not worth the hassle BUT, if your looking for a fun shooter,, go Norc!!

On some of the USA 1911 boards, when they discuss the topic of what 1911 is closest to the WW2 version, many think the Norinco is the closest clone. If your looking for a WW2 style clone get a Norc.

I know you had issues with your SAM Omega .40 S&W. No joy there.

From what I read the .40 S&W SAM is a no go. =\.

Sam! I have a SAM Omega 6 in .40 S&W and it is awsome and a Thunderbolt in .45 I just got but have not fired yet and they are a great value for the money!

More attention to detail, finish and fit! Superior quality to a Norc! That being said I have a Norc too and like it.
