Quick question for you guys:

How well will the gun handle heavier bullets like 200 gr and up?

Thinking of getting one to shoot heavier hunting load.
 
i seen someone installed a dpms barrel on there in 6.5 creedmoor im wandering if a dpms bolt will fit i want to put a faxon 20 inch bbl to cut some oz and a mi mlok rail a new barrel and bolt be making it feed much better maybe cut half a pound off the set up im gonna wait on getting one till i find out what i can change in it

My 102 gets terrible accuracy with anything over 168gr.

Heavier rounds fed and functioned well but accuracy was awful

Thank you it's good to know.

It's weird because if the barrel twist is as advertised it should be 1 in 10" twist and should able to stabilize bullet weight upto 220 gr may be some other physics come into play.
 
I only shot one group of 178grain but my rifle grouped it well. I have a pile of loads done up waiting in sandwich bags, but I'm waiting for a new trigger, and looks like I'll be moving, so it'll probably be a next summer project...

Yes dpms bolt will work.
Not bolt carrier tho
