After getting your Type 81 rifle will you fo business with TI again?

happy with the service I received. Did not pre order. Ordered week last Monday and received today which was an 11 day turn around to Vancouver Island.

Service eas good as far as I am concerned......
 
I wanna change my vote now that I'm going to be shorted on the mags I ordered and still don't have a shipping notice, despite ordering back in the summer.

It's been 2 weeks since the rifles were delivered to TI, and they haven't even shipped to me yet, while guys who ordered less than a month ago have had rifles for over a week and got as many mags as they asked for.

New vote = HELL NO.
 
They brought something in that nobody else has....... however it was handled.... shipping, etc.... they got 1000 rifles that nobody else did.... do that again, and for sure i'd buy from them again.

Isn't this the problem!!! A guy that ordered 11-day ago received their order before someone that ordered 19 month ago.

Seeing as the other thread is locked down, I guess is this where we compare notes to see if anyone who ordered a folder gets a shipping notice? And on that note, has anyone?
 
1 guy in the other thread said he did. But only one guy and I don't recognize his name at all but he's a member since 2011. So cautiously optimistic until more post with shipping notifications.

There is one guy that alleges that he got a shipping notice for folder also said he ordered in the late summer of 2017.
If that is the case, this is just another disappointment to those that ordered in early to mid, 2016.

You know that it is customary for Chinese guns to come with three mags? The also sold for less than $10 In most places. Accessories are also standard. The empty-ish box thing - it's not a historic thing.
Got a link for the $10 t81 mags? I could really use some more.
 
I'm with ricohman here. Sure it sucks when things are delayed and sure it's nice to get updates, but they're a credible company with a solid history and aren't running off with anyone's cash. As mentioned, refunds were an option, and they do have a phone number and an email address. Just because they aren't super vocal on cgn doesn't mean they're ghosting you all. Lastly, you didn't Have to preorder..but you got some extra gear for free if you did as compensation for your faith and early buy in.

I think this pole is a little spiteful, nonetheless I'm sure the overwhelming majority will vote positive.

I'd stand behind TI. I have several of their products with more on the way, and am grateful for the service they provide the Canadian gun community.

How is the poll going for you? They havent done anything to improve their ratings since the poll started. In fact the trend is getting worse for them and they deserve it.
 
Absolutely will do business with them again. There was no "fiasco". They offered a pre-order on a new rifle they were bringing to the market and they delivered. Granted there were delays beyond their control but they did a good job of bringing them in and getting them shipped out to customers.

Did you just chime in today? Nobody faults them on the production delays. Every thing else is within their control. Their shipping process has been a joke, they have had the rifles for 3 weeks nobody has received a folder, no pics. Many have not received their fixed. Magazine shortage, every statement they make is proven incorrect.

The only reason I ordered from TI this time is because they are the only ones with them. If another importer brought them in than I likely would have gone with them.

Been watching from the beginning - just got my rifle and mags yesterday. TI is a business - they have other things to do besides shipping Type 81s all day. their shipping process has been fine and people at getting their rifles. No need for pics or updates - the update came when they announced that they had received the rifles and were shipping them. Mag shortage? They did not order too few - they had their shipment shorted - not their fault.

The nature of any business is to serve their customer. If they are not doing that, what are they do busy doing?
Number one rule of business: " take care of your customer or somebody else will"
